Despite a spirited start by Suzie Bates and Georgia Plimmer, who has only twice reached double figures in six innings on this tour, the White Ferns managed 33 in the powerplay, albeit without loss

But Glenn entered the attack in the seventh over and made an immediate impact, sparking a devastating collapse

Amelia Kerr was out for a duck, Sophie Devine for five and Brooke Halliday for three as the heart was ripped out of the side.

Only late hitting from Izzy Gaze and Jess Kerr with 24 and 25 respectively gave the score any sort of respectability.

England replied with 104-3 and had a massive 51 balls to spare after Sophia Dunkley and Danni Wyatt opened with 26 runs each.

Amelia Kerr, Lea Tahuhu and Eden Carson all took a wicket each.
