Another sorry result for the White Ferns at the completion of their tour of England after losing all five T20 internationals.

The New Zealand side chose to field and bowled well, containing the home side to 155-7 as Fran Jonas took career-best figures of 4-22 from her four overs.

Only England captain Heather Knight's unbeaten 46 off 31 balls steadied the hosts, who were 87-6 in the 13th over, her 57-run stand for the sixth wicket with Charlie Dean helped them to their total.

Also bowling well was fellow spinner Eden Carson, who took 2-35.

However, England's bowlers made early inroads, dismissing Suzie Bates for 16 and Georgia Plimmer for eight.

Melie Kerr looked like she'd stick around for a while and duly made 43 off 36 balls.

But aside from Brooke Halliday making 25, the only other player to reach double figures was captain Sophie Devine as the White Ferns fell short and made 135-8 in their 20 overs.

It was the first time the White Ferns have failed to win a match in a T20 series and showed that if one of Bates, Devine and Kerr do not get back up the result becomes inevitable.
