New Zealand golfer Steve Alker has finished tied for fifth at the Senior Open at Carnoustie in Scotland.
Alker shot a one-under 71 in his final round on Sunday (Monday NZ Time) to finish two-under for the tournament.

He was eight shots behind the winner, South Korean KJ Choi.
Choi finished two shots clear of Australian Richard Green, with England's Paul Broadhurst a further two strokes back in third.
Of the two other Kiwis, Michael Long moved up 14 spots to finish tied for 47th at 11-over, while Michael Campbell dropped to a share of 52nd at 13-over.
Meanwhile, Lydia Ko has finished tied for eighth at the Canadian Women’s Open in Calgary.
She carded a final round 69, which included four birdies and one bogey, to be six-under for the tournament and seven shots behind the winner, Lauren Coughlin from the United States.
Ko took home just under $100,000 for her effort.
The 26-year-old’s next event is the Paris Olympics. She has claimed silver and bronze medals at the past two Olympics.
