A 70-73 loss for the Tall Blacks in their first friendly game against Finland courtesy of a buzzer-beating three-pointer to the Finnish captain Sasu Salin to seal the win.
The New Zealand team was led by Corey Webster, with 18 points from his 28 minutes shooting 7-19 from the floor.

Finn Delany scored 11 while Shea Ili put on nine points and six assists, while Reuben Te Rangi added eight points and seven rebounds.
As a team, the Tall Blacks shot 40 percent from the field and hit 10 triples on the night at a 30 percent.
Defensively they pulled in nine steals and seven blocks, but gave away 47 rebounds to Finland while claiming 31 of their own.
Finland was led by Mikael Jantunen who totaled 20 points and 16 rebounds, eight offensively with Elias Valtonen added 14 points.
