The 22-year-old who helped the Mystics win the last two ANZ Premierships as well as having over 30 international appearance for the Silver Ferns can still play for New Zealand this season, but not in 2025.

Nweke joins a distinguished list of Silver Ferns who have been part of the seven-time winners, the Swifts with Laura Langman, Katrina Rore (nee Grant), Courtney Tairi and Kayla Johnson (nee Cullen) all having played for the Club throughout the years.

She is set to make the move to Sydney for pre-season training after her current international commitments with New Zealand have been completed.

Coincidently Swifts head coach Briony Akle has recently been named as a specialist coach for the Silver Ferns this season.
