Full crowds are on the card for the Black Caps three-game T20I series against Sri Lanka over the New Year period.


Less than 200 tickets remain for the T20I at Saxton Oval in Nelson on January 2nd, with the venue likely set to sell-out.

Strong crowds are also expected for the first two matches of the T20I series at Mount Maunganui’s Bay Oval on Saturday 28th and Monday 30th December.


The Black Caps have already experienced great support this summer with full houses on display for much of the test series against England in Christchurch, Wellington and Hamilton which was won 2-1 by England.

Mitchell Santner will lead New Zealand in the series with new players Bevon Jacobs and Mitch Hay to make his debut at home.


Daryl Mitchells, Tom Latham and Rachin Ravindra are also named in the squad to get valuable game time.
