It is now official, New Zealand's Erin Routliffe has become the world No 1 doubles player and the first Kiwi to hold a top professional ranking.
The WTA rankings have just been released and Routliffe has moved up one place from No 2 to the top spot.

Routliffe and Canadian Gaby Dabrowski were beaten finalist in women’s doubles at Wimbledon over the weekend.
Routliffe, 29, has had a superb in the last four Grand Slams.
She teamed with Dabrowski to win the US Open, then reached the Australian Open semifinals before a third round appearance at Roland Garros with Leylah Fernandez, as Dabrowski was injured.
The great run at Wimbledon finished on centre court with a loss in the final.
Meanwhile, Lulu Sun has improved 70 places to No 53 in the world after her quarterfinal showing in the Wimbledon singles.
In the men's doubles, Michael Venus moved up six places to 14th in the ATP doubles rankings.
