New Zealand's Erin Routliffe and Canadian Gaby Dabrowski have won the doubles title at the Stuttgart WTA event in Germany.


They beat Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova and Shuai [sch-why] Zhang from China 6-3 6-3 in the final in a straight forward contest where the result was never in doubt.

Routliffe and Dabrowskie broke their opponents serve on five occasions and generallyhad the better service percentages themselves in the one hour 16 minute contest


It's the second title in consecutive tournaments for Routliffe after success with Jelena Ostapenko at Charleston and a little unexpected.


"We didn't bring a coach here this week so we had to lean on each other a lot."


It's the first title for Routliffe and Dabrowski as a pair in 2025 after they won the WTA Finals together in November.


For Routliffe, 30 it is her 10th career doubles title.
