“We’re absolutely thrilled to be involved in an event that will provide our club, members
and fans with an unbelievable experience,” said One New Zealand Warriors CEO Cameron George.
“It was amazing seeing the impact this year’s event had as the NRL took premiership
games outside Australia and New Zealand for the first time.
“We’re so proud to be New Zealand’s only club in the competition and, as such, we will
be doing all we can to add another dimension to the occasion next year.
“Our members and fans are the best in the game. They’ve been packing out our home
games in record numbers, they follow us around the country and support us brilliantly in
our away games.
“Now they will have the chance to climb on board to see their team break new ground by
playing in the United States for the first time.”
“This will be another tremendous opportunity for rugby league and also for us specifically
to promote ourselves to the American market,” he said.
“We’re confident we can attract a huge crowd of ex-patriate Kiwis in the United States as
well as having a big contingent of travelling fans with us.”
Rugby League in Las Vegas 2025 will kick off on Wednesday, February 26 with a packed
programme of events leading up to a game day providing eight teams and four games
with just one ticket.
