Just one of the three New Zealand golfers has managed to make the cut at the Irish Open at Royal County Down.
Taranaki 28-eight-year-old Sam Jones dropped down the leaderboard from par to two over par after bogeying the final two holes of his second round.
LATEST HEADLINES:
Jones hit five bogeys in his round with one birdie and an eagle on the first hole.
However he'll at least make the weekend's play while countrymen Daniel Hillier and Ryan Fox both finished at three over and missed the cut.
Fox had a one over par 72 including three birdies and four bogeys while Hillier had a one-under round with three birdies and a bogey, but struggled to pull back his first round four over.
The leader going into the weekend is Italian Matteo Manassero at six under, one shot ahead of Laurie Canter and Todd Clements.
