New Zealand driver Liam Lawson will start in the back half of the grid for the Mexican Grand Prix in Mexico City.
Ferrari's Carlos Sainz has pole position with Red Bull's Formula One championship leader Max Verstappen joining the Spaniard on the front row.

The battle between RB rivals Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda turned desperate with the Japanese driver crashing as he tried to get into the top 10.
Tsunoda is 11th next to Lawson on the grid as they try and firm up a permanent drive for next season with Red Bull.
Lawson, 22 was ninth in the first practice and 10th in the second and third as he tried to break into the busy territory ahead of him and show his skills to the Red Bull boses.
