Momoka Kobori is the best-placed of a group of eight New Zealand golfers at tournaments around Asia.
Kobori sits in a share of seventh at the Ladies European Tour's (LET) Women's Indian Open at the DLF Golf and Country Club near New Delhi, after a one-over 73 in the second round on Friday.

The 25-year-old Cantabrian made two birdies and three bogeys to remain in the top-10 on day two, finishing at one-over, three strokes behind the 36-hole leaders, Singapore's Shannon Tan and England's Alice Hewson.
Kobori slid in birdie putts at the eighth and 13th holes, while bogeys came at the first, seventh and 17th holes, all par-fours.
It was a tough day for scoring, with just nine of 114 golfers in red numbers. Kobori hit 9-of-14 fairways and just 7-of-18 greens in regulation.
Her younger brother Kazuma Kobori, who celebrated his 23rd birthday on Friday, is the highest-ranked of four Kiwis at the Asian Tour's International Series Thailand tournament, near Bangkok.
Kobori is tied for 14th after a five-under 65 in the second round at the Thai Country Club on Friday, sitting at eight-under, six shots behind the leader, American Peter Uihlein.
He put together six birdies and a single bogey on day two, with an accurate day from tee to green. He found 12-of-14 fairways and 16-of-18 greens in regulation.
Also making the cut in Thailand were Nick Voke (seven-under) and Ben Campbell (five-under), while Danny Lee (two-over), in his first tournament this year outside of LIV Golf, missed out.
Voke carded a four-under 66, featuring five birdies, to be tied for 24th and Campbell shot an even-par 70, including three birdies and three bogeys, to sit in a share of 42nd. Lee managed his second straight one-over 71.
On the PGA Tour, Ryan Fox is tied for 47th after the second round of the Zozo Championship in Chiba, Japan.
After an opening round two-over 72, Fox carded an even-par 70 on Friday, to sit at two-over, 10 shots behind the leader, Colombian Nicolas Echavarria.
The 37-year-old made four birdies and four bogeys at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club. He made two birdies and three bogeys on the back-nine.
Daniel Hillier made the cut and Sam Jones missed out at the DP World Tour's Genesis Championship in Incheon, South Korea.
Hillier managed a one-under 71 in the second round at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea on Friday, moving into a tie for 17th at five-under, six strokes off the lead.
The 26-year-old opened with a double-bogey but managed five birdies and two bogeys over the last 17 holes.
Meanwhile, Kiwi pair Kerry Mountcastle and Jake Meenhorst have surged to the top of the leaderboard at the halfway mark of the Players Series South Australia tournament at Willunga Golf Course.
Mountcastle became the latest player to match the course record of seven-under 63, while Meenhorst came home with five birdies in his final seven holes for a six-under 64 to join his countryman at nine-under.
Starting round two on the back-nine, Mountcastle had the course record at his mercy when he went out in six-under 28.
He holed a putt from eight feet to begin with a birdie on the 10th, converted from six feet at the 11th, holed 20-footers for birdie at both the 14th and 15th
and then stiffed his approach into the par-four 16th to make it three straight.
With his wedge-game dialled in, Mountcastle hit his second shot to the 18 green to three feet for his sixth birdie but traded two bogeys with three birdies on his second nine to post seven-under.
