It is take-two for triathlon on Day 5 at the Paris Olympics.

The men's race was postponed on Day 4 due to pollution levels in the River Seine being too high for the swim leg, with the women's and men's races now set to go off back-to-back on Wednesday.

LATEST HEADLINES:

Kiwis Nicole van der Kaay and Ainsley Thorpe are set to feature in the women's race at 6pm NZT, and Hayden Wilde, one of the medal favourites, and Dylan McCullough in the men's race at 8.45pm NZT.

Two rowing crews (Phillip Watson and Daniel Williamson in the men's pair and Jackie Kiddle and Shannon Cox in the lightweight women's double sculls) will contest semifinals, looking to New Zealand's strong start to the Paris regatta.

Wednesday is also a critical day for New Zealand's sailors in Marseille, with men's 49er crew of Isaac McHardie and William McKenzie in the thick of the medal battle, while women's 49erFX crew of Jo Aleh and Molly Meech will look to continue their comeback.

The NZ Team athletes will also compete in swimming (Kane Follows), equestrian - dressage (Melissa Galloway) and football (Football Ferns vs France) on Day 5.
