One-test All Black Brett Cameron is out with an ACL injury which he posted on social media picked up at Manawatu NPC practice.

The ACL injury will likely keep him out for nine months, meaning Cameron is set to miss the entire 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season.

The 28-year-old’s absence comes after a season where the Hurricanes finished top of the table with 12 wins from 14 games.

Cameron played his one test for the All Blacks in 2018 as a substitute against Japan.

The injury comes at a difficult time for the Canes who lost 23-year-old Aidan Morgan to Irish club Ulster.

The Super Rugby Pacific squads are set to be announced in the next few weeks with limited options available.

The Crusaders recently signed former Wallaby playmaker James O’Connor to help fill their experience void at No 10.
