A-League newcomers Auckland FC will play their inaugural match at home on October 19.
The first-year club will host the Brisbane Roar at Auckland's Go Media Stadium on Saturday, October 19 (kick-off 5pm), while the Wellington Phoenix will also open at home at Wellington's Sky Stadium the following day against Western United (kick-off 4pm).

Fans of both teams will not have to wait long for the much-anticipated first Kiwi Derby between Auckland FC and the Phoenix coming in Round 3 on Saturday, November 2 in Wellington (kick-off 5pm).
The two other derbies are locked in for Round 7 at Go Media Stadium on Saturday, December 7 (kick-off 5pm) and Round 20, also in Auckland, on Saturday, February 22 (kick-off 5pm).
The A-League understatedly announced the 2024-25 fixtures list last Friday, with both North Island clubs set for 13 home and 13 away matches.
Auckland FC will play all 13 home fixtures at Mt Smart, while the Phoenix currently have 11 matches scheduled for Sky Stadium.
Their Round 5 home match against the Melbourne Victory on Sunday, November 24 has been shifted to Sydney as part of the league's 'Unite Round', while their Round 16 meeting with the Central Coast Mariners on Saturday, January 25 has been listed as venue TBC.
Auckland FC will not leave New Zealand until Round 5 when they take on Macarthur FC at Sydney's Allianz Stadium on November 24 in double-header with the Phoenix.
The new club will play 24 of their 26 matches on either Saturday or Sunday, with the only exceptions being a Round 11 New Year's Day home clash against the Melbourne Victory and a Round 14 away match against Adelaide United on January 22, both on Wednesdays.
The only day of the week the Phoenix will not play is a Tuesday. Along with 18 matches on Saturdays and Sundays, the Nix will play five times on Friday nights.
Their weeknight matches come in Round 14 on Wednesday, January 15 at home against Sydney FC, in Round 15 on Monday, January 20 away to Macarthur FC, and Round 18 on Waitangi Day, a Thursday, at home against the Roar.
