Arch-rival Mostafa Asal has got the better of New Zealand's Paul Coll in the semifinals of the British Open.
World No 2 Coll had a two games to one lead, but somehow the Egyptian came back with an array of attacking shots to eventually win 7-11 11-9 6-11 11-7 11-6 in Birmingham on Saturday (Sunday NZ Time).

For Asal, it will be his first British Open final. For Coll it was a chance to make his way into the final and try for his third title at the prestigious event.
Fourth ranked Asal gave plenty of praise to Coll who he has sometimes had testy rivalry against.
“It’s a nightmare [to play Coll] but we have had some tough battles over the past four or five years and he’s an unbelievable athlete,” said Asal.
“He picks up every single ball and I have to hit five crosscourt nicks to win a rally. All credit to him and I can’t believe I won this match."
