Four-time world champion Kelly Brazier will return to Chiefs Manawa for Super Rugby Aupiki n 2025.
One of the most decorated players, Brazier’s list of achievements is extensive: two world titles for sevens, two world titles for XVs, Olympic gold and silver medals, gold and bronze Commonwealth game medals, and Sevens World Series titles with the Black Fern Sevens team, among many other triumphs.

After many years of success, she returns home to Chiefs Manawa, where she was a cornerstone member of the 2022 team that took home the inaugural Sky Super Rugby Aupiki title.
Chiefs Manawa Head Coach Dwayne Sweeney was thrilled to have player of Brazier's quality at the franchise.
“Kelly is a player that embodies professionalism and work ethic, which we value highly here at the Chiefs. Her hunger to compete is what sets her apart and is evident in her successes with the Black Ferns and Black Fern Sevens. I know she will add a lot to the squad with her experience at the highest level, which will be invaluable for some of our younger athletes.”
Brazier can't wait for the challenge of joining the Chiefs.

Alongside being an exceptional player, Brazier is a passionate coach who has assisted the Bay of Plenty age-grade teams as well as the Brave Louve in Japan for the Taiyo Seimei Women’s Sevens Series.
In the last week the Chiefs also signed dual-international Rosie Kelly for next seasons Super Rugby Aupiki.
