
A late Central Coast Mariners goal has held Auckland FC to a draw at Mt Smart in their A-League game.
The match ended 2-2 after 21-year-old Nicholas Duarte scored his first A-League goal in the 90th minute for the 10th placed Mariners. The goal came after a deflection off Auckland captain Hiroki Sakai who was actually lying on the ground from a defensive play.

Vitor Feijao replied for the visitors in 71st minute before substitue Callan Elliot took the initiative back in the 78th minute.
Throughout the game the home side had plenty of chances from Francis De Vries, Cam Howieson which could have put the game out of reach.
Despite missing the full three points the draw still keeps Auckland at the top of the table with a seven point lead over Western United FC. .
