As the All Blacks and Black Ferns Sevens teams prepare for the Cape Town tournament this weekend, there is a couple of changes and a milestone of note.


Experienced pair of Joe Webber and Andrew Knewstubb sustained injuries during the Dubai Sevens and have returned home to New Zealand.


LATEST HEADLINES:


They have been replaced in Cape Town by potential debutants former Palmerston North High School star and now Bay of Plenty player Fletcher Carpenter and Northland's Rob Rush the son of former great, Eric Rush.


The All Blacks finished fourth at the Dubai tournament and face the United States and France in their pool matches


Meanwhile, Kelly Brazier is set to become just the fifth player to notch up 50 tournaments for the Black Ferns Sevens. This total includes World Series, Commonwealth Games and Olympics.


The Black Ferns were beaten finalists against Australia in Dubai and play China and Japan in pool play in Cape Town.


As there are four pools of three teams each in Cape Town, there are only two pool matches for each team.
